General Information: Quick to mature and slow to bolt, Quickstar grows very uniformly sized, 5.5-oz. (150-g), green-skinned edible bulbs nestled below dark green, slightly broad leaves. This versatile variety can be boiled, stir-fried in strips, grated for salads or eaten raw like a carrot. Garden tip: Use the bulbs when they are the size of an apple, before they become hard and woody.

Idea & Tips: Water as needed all season to keep soil evenly moist, keeping your eye out for the first sign of wilt. Feed with a vegetable fertilizer to ensure your bountiful harvest.
