These 6-in. (15-cm) ruby red peppers have more flavor than most sweet bells, and are best in salads or sliced for dip.

Idea & Tips: Water in moderation; the soil must drain well. 
Peppers don’t tolerate saturated soil that waterlogs their roots. 
Don’t overfertilize.
Use mulch to prevent excessive evaporation from the soil during the dry Summer months. 
For support, loosely tie the plants to stakes using rubber bands to allow for the expansion that comes with growing.
