General Information: Tender perennial used as a dietary supplement; dried leaves are many times sweeter than sugar.
Idea & Tips: Stevia is vulnerable to cold temperatures, so set the plants out at least 2 weeks after your usual last frost date.
Harden plants for 4 to 6 days before transplanting by placing outdoors in a protected area.
Bring indoors on cold nights.
A little mulch around new plants will prevent rapid drying on sunny days.

Grower Information: The incredibly sweet leaves are an herbal alternative to sugar and are up to 30 times sweeter. Each bushy, high-yielding plant yields up to 0.5 lb. (227 g) of dried leaves. Also enjoyable when used fresh.
