Hot Lemon’s 3 to 4-in. (8- to 10-cm) fruits ripen to yellow, but are also very flavorful when green.
As hot as any Cayenne, these peppers have a truly unique flavor.

Idea & Tips: Water in moderation; the soil must drain well. 
Peppers don’t tolerate saturated soil that waterlogs their roots. 
Don’t overfertilize.
Use mulch to prevent excessive evaporation from the soil during the dry Summer months. 
For support, loosely tie the plants to stakes using rubber bands to allow for the expansion that comes with growing.

Grower Information: This heirloom from Ecuador produces fruit that ripens to yellow, but are also very flavorful when green. The skin is tender and the aroma is spicy with a hint of pine woods. As hot as any Cayenne, these peppers are best used fresh in sauces or for drying. The more the plant is harvested, the more it will produce!
