General Information: Produces thick, crisp bell peppers that are extremely sweet and mature from dark green to shiny red. Easy to grow in any garden, giving them plenty of sunlight and water. Perfect for stuffing and in salads.

Idea & Tips: Water in moderation; the soil must drain well. Peppers don’t tolerate saturated soil that waterlogs their roots. Don’t overfertilize. Use mulch to prevent excessive evaporation from the soil during the dry Summer months. For support, loosely tie the plants to stakes using rubber bands to allow for the expansion that comes with growing.

Grower Information: Big Bertha produces thick-walled, crisp peppers that are extremely sweet. Up to 7-in. (18 cm) long, the fruit matures from dark green to shiny red. They don’t produce many seeds, making them excellent for slicing, as well as stuffing and salads. For maximum flavor, eat the same day they are picked. Easy to grow in any garden.
